A T-SHIRT worn and signed by Wirral's James Bond star Daniel Craig is up for auction to raise funds for the RNLI.

The actor, who grew up in Hoylake and was educated at Hilbre School, swapped his super spy character's tuxedo for a RNLI T-shirt which is now being auctioned on the RNLI's eBay site with all proceeds going to the lifesaving charity.

The auction closes this Monday (December 2) at 8pm.

Daniel said: "I am honoured and immensely proud to support the RNLI".

RNLI fundraising director Jayne George, said: "We are really grateful to have Daniel’s continued support, the money raised from the auction will make a huge difference.

"At a time when more people than ever before need the RNLI’s help, we need more money to keep providing our lifesaving service

"The donations we receive help us invest in vital training and equipment as well education to help prevent people getting in trouble."
