CELEBRITY chef Paul Askew will be hosting an extra special festive cooking event at Birkenhead Market.
'Cooking into Christmas' will take place on Saturday, November 30 and sees Paul bring together seasonal produce while celebrating shopping local and supporting local traders.
Paul will deliver three live chef demos on the day demonstrating how keen cooks can make festive feasts on a budget to impress the family this Christmas.
He will be joined by Adopt a School - an organisation that sends chefs and hospitality professionals into schools to teach children about food, healthy eating and the importance of eating together.
The Children's Cooking Zone will feature three sessions as part of the event.
Paul's live Cooking into Christmas demo times last 45 minutes each and will take place at the following times:
- 12pm
- 1.30pm
- 3pm

Session one:
- 11.30am – 12.15pm Leftover Xmas Turkey & Ham Macaroni Cheese
Session two:
- 1.30pm – 2.15pm Vegetable Biryani
Session three:
- 3.30pm – 4.15pm Xmas Pudding Cheesecake
