THREE people have been arrested, drugs seized and a knife has been discovered as part of a day of action in Rock Ferry.
Bebington's local policing team held the day of action on Wednesday, November 13 to make the community a safer place to be.
There were three arrests including a male driver who was found to be in possession of controlled drugs following a search of a car.
Officers also conducted a misuse of drugs act warrant on a house in St Catherine's Gardens and arrested a man and woman for drug supply offences.
A large amount of suspected amphetamines were seized along with cannabis, cocaine, cash and mobile phones.
Volunteers from the local metal detectors group
Elsewhere volunteers from the local metal detectors club searched Mersey Park and found a knuckle duster, knife and cannabis pipe which were all hidden in undergrowth.
These items were then safely disposed of by officers.
The local policing team and community payback
The community payback team also managed to fill two skips with rubbish and fly-tipped waste while the team from Beaconsfield Community House helped look after all volunteers.
