Schoolchildren in West Kirby have joined forces with local singer/songwriter Megan Louise in a bid to help stop bullying.

To mark Anti-Bullying Week on Tuesday, November 12, Avalon School will welcome Megan who will share her own personal experiences with pupils and how she used music to overcome her struggles with bullying at school.

Megan will then treat the children to a special performance before inviting them to sing alongside a cover version of 'This is Me.'

Throughout the week children at Avalon will also be taking part in a range of activities from role playing to song rapping, learning and understanding different forms of bullying while also focusing on the theme 'Change Starts With Us.'

Pupils will even wear odd socks to express themselves and celebrate their individuality while also learning how they can start looking out for each other when it comes to challenging bullying.
