SERVICES of remembrance for those who have lost their lives in conflict take place in Wirral tomorrow.
The Mayor of Wirral, Cllr Tony Smith, will join service men, women, their families and armed forces representatives at The Cenotaph in Hamilton Square at 10.55am.
The full list of Remembrance Sunday services is as follows:
9.15am: St Peter’s Church Heswall - service of Holy Communion including an Act of Remembrance
10am: Christ Church, Kings Road, Bebington, followed by a service at the Higher Bebington British Legion at 12 noon.
10.15am: St. Barnabas Church, Bromborough
10.30am: St. Oswald’s Church, Bidston.
10.30am for 10.45am: Grange Hill, West Kirby
10.35 for 10.35am: The Cenotaph, corner of Maryland Lane and Pasture Road.
10.15: The Parade will leave the Royal British Legion, Wallasey for a
Service at the War Memorial, Magazines Promenade, New Brighton.
10am for 10.45am: Short Service at St. Stephen's Church followed by War Memorial at Junction of Osmaston Road and Prenton Lane, Prenton
10.45am: War Memorial outside the Public Library, Ford Road, Upton
10.45am: War Memorial, Port Sunlight Village followed by a service at Christ Church, Port Sunlight Village.
11.00am All Age Parade Service at St Peter's Church Heswall, followed at midday by Act of Remembrance at Heswall War Memorial (Dee View) beginning Civic Parade to the Royal British Legion (Pensby Road) for 12.30pm
2.20 for 2.40pm: Service at the War Memorial, Thornton Hough
