FORECASTERS have issued a severe warning for heavy rain across Wirral.
The Met Office say that the yellow weather warning is in place on Thursday, November 7 from 9am until 12am.
There is a small chance that homes and businesses could become flooded and fast flowing water that could cause danger to lives.
Drivers may find that their journeys take longer while there could be delays or cancellations to train and bus services.
A Met Office spokesman said: "Rain is expected to become heavy and persistent across parts of north Wales on Thursday, with many places seeing 20mm to 30 mm of rain.
"Strong northeasterly winds are expected to bring large amounts of rain to north facing hills with the potential for 50mm to 70mm of rain which may lead to some flooding."
