TAKE a look inside the brand new £2.2m restaurant Lu Ban Liverpool which opened its doors this weekend.
Lu Ban, set to open at the former Cains Brewery site in November, will introduce regional Chinese dining to the UK.
With roots firmly planted in the Chinese city of Tianjin, Lu Ban will launch with a fresh, seasonally driven menu packed full of authentic dining options and includes small plates, tasting menus and Tianjin inspired banquets.

The team behind the innovative concept have spent months in Tianjin, taking in local culture and traditions while learning all the tricks.
The main restaurant is positioned around an open kitchen which houses a front row seat view of the chefs while moving away from the dining area, there is a six-metre-long bespoke bar can seat 30 guests who want to try some tasty snacks or enjoy a creative cocktails.

There are also several places for guests to indulge in the ultimate to enjoy private dining experience with a food lab, dedicated wine room, intimate chef's table plus the discreet and exclusive Tianjin Dining Room.
Bright and modern, the food lab offers an informal and unique experience for up to 12 guests who can choose their ingredients and influence the evening's menu.
For a more intimate gathering, try out the Chef's Table with just six places, diners will enjoy the noise, smells and buzz of the kitchen as well as feasting on food made before their very eyes, complemented by paired wines from around the world.

The Wine Room is home to wines from some of the world's best creators and is housed in a floor-to-ceiling glass and cellars while the Tianjin Private Dining Room is discreet and hidden from the main restaurant, offering the authentic Tianjin experience for up to 12 guests to escape from the world outside for a few hours.
