SHOPPERS can enjoy a Spooktacular programme of events this Halloween at Liverpool ONE.

There will be free frightening fun for the whole family with scary celebrations kicking off from October 14 until November 3.

Stores such as Disney and Apple have a range of free activities available and kids can eat free at restaurants like Las Iguanas, Barburrito and Chaophraya.

On Halloween itself, Liverpool ONE will host a Radio City street party between 4pm and 7pm.

Party-goers in the best fancy dress can expect spot prizes, monster music, games, giveaways and the return of the world-famous spider puppet Aracnobot.

Other entertainment on offer includes pop-up theatre performances from Baba Yaga’s House, Slinkys and street dance from Britain’s Got Talent stars MD Productions.

"We can’t wait to kick off the spooky Halloween celebrations, with something for every member of the family to enjoy!”

Visitors will have the chance to rescue Merseyside from a zombie apocalypse with a brand new interactive app - Zombies Unleashed.

Working in conjunction with Liverpool ONE, the will allow visitors to hunt down and capture virtual zombies in the run up to Halloween.

It is free to download and aimed at players aged 12 and over.

As part of the app, players can also track down 'energy boosters' in store windows, helping them tackle more zombies and make their way up the leader board.

Players will unlock their first zombie when they download the app and should then hunt for the others located at seven points across Liverpool ONE.

Donna added: “The Zombies Unleashed app has been popular so far, especially among older children and the local student population as they capture their zombies and work their way up the leader board.

"The countdown to Halloween is officially upon us and we’re looking forward to welcoming visitors of all ages.”
