TWO teenagers have been left extremely shaken after hooded yobs snatched their bikes in a Heswall park.

At around 6.40pm on Saturday, October 5 it is reported that two 15-year-old boys were on their bikes near the swings at Dawstone Park when two males approached them.

One of the yobs claimed he had a knife before snatching the bikes.

The first male is white, 5ft 8in and wore a black Berghaus coast with the hood up and black trousers.

He was with another male who wore a blue Berghaus coat.

One of the stolen bikes is a black and grey Carrera Vengeance with a water bottle holder and pump attached to the main frame and lights on the front.

The other is a black and orange Carrera with black handlebars.

Detective sergeant Kevin O’Rourke said: "While the victims were not injured during this incident, they were left extremely shaken by what happened.

“Thankfully, incidents such as this are extremely rare and I can reassure people that we are doing everything we can to trace and arrest the offenders, and are appealing for the public to help us find them.”
