BIG-hearted Runcorn residents helped council workers raise more than £610 at a MacMillan coffee morning.
The event - at Castlefields Community Centre last Friday (September 27) - featured competitions such as guess the weight of the cake, name the bear and guess how many sweets in the cup and saucer.
Centre manager Alison Watson said: "As ever, the people of Castlefields have really supported this event.
"Local residents have been very generous with contributing to this cause."
For those who entered, the cake weighed 5lb 4oz, the bear is called Barnaby and there were 252 sweets in the cup and saucer.
