TRANMERE Rovers midfielder Neil Danns has been called up by Guyana for their upcoming CONCACAF Nations League fixtures, the club has confirmed.
Danns, 36, who has been capped on 12 occasions by his international side, is in the squad for the following games, a double header against Antigua & Barbuda.
The fixtures are:
- Antigua & Barbuda v Guyana – October 11
- Guyana v Antigua & Barbuda – October 14
Guyana have started their CONCACAF Nations League campaign with a win and a defeat, beating Aruba 1-0 before losing to Jamaica.
A statement on Rovers website reads: "Having made two appearances since signing for Micky Mellon’s men last month, Danns will be next available for Tranmere selection for the Sky Bet League One Friday night football encounter with Southend United on October 18 at Prenton Park.
"Everyone at Tranmere Rovers wishes Neil the best of luck on international duty."
