I WOULD like to respond to the article that appeared in last week's edition of the Wirral Globe headlined New Ferry support was lacking.
Mark Camborne is wrong to expect victims of the New Ferry explosion seek help from their GPs.
Extra facilities should be provided to ensure all victims get support and to take pressure off local health services.
All a local GP will do is refer a patient to another service elsewhere anyway.
Besides, some of the victims might be too unwell or might not consider a need to seek help from a GP.
