TWO Wirral sisters are set to open a brand new wellbeing and gift shop in Birkenhead town centre.

The brainchild of Lisa Luscombe and Kate Verdin Walsh, the Boss Birds Parlour came about in 2017 but after a two years of success, the pair decided to move their business from home and open their own premises.

Boss Birds Parlour will house a nail and beauty bar plus a treatment room for holistic therapies such as reiki, sports and Indian head massages.

All products used there will also be vegan friendly.

Based on Argyle Street, the parlour will also offer smaller businesses the chance to rent a space within the shop so that they can sell their products or service.

Lisa and Kate told the Globe: "We are really excited about our new venture.

"It’s something we’ve been thinking about for a while. We like the idea that we can help smaller start-ups at the same time.

"We feel our mission statement describes exactly what we are about which is to provide everything you need to feel boss inside and out. We literally put self-care and positive vibes into your shopping experience.

"We are so much more than a gift shop, we are a place you can come along, pamper yourself, treat yourself or a loved one to a gift or outfit from our shop and leave feeling amazing.

"The location is perfect too as it is walking distance from the town centre, close to bus and rail services too."

Boss Birds Parlour, 72 Argyle Street, will open its doors on Saturday, October 5 at 9am with Radio Wirral and Sky TV’s Beverly Macca as special guest.
