POLICE are hunting four men after a safe with cash was snatched from a Heswall bar.
Officers received a report at around 4am today (Monday, September 16) that four men had forced their way into Blind Pig on Telegraph Road and stole a safe with cash inside.
It is believed that the men then ran away through the back exit.
Forensic, CCTV and witness enquiries are all ongoing.
Detective inspector Tara Denn said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard this incident, or who has seen anyone acting suspiciously in the vicinity in recent days.
"Your witness account, CCTV or dashcam could be vital as we investigate.
"We will act on all information provided, are determined to find those responsible and bring them to justice, to ensure our residents and businesses are safe from the harm, distress and inconvenience that burglary causes."
