A 23-year-old man has been charged after a knife incident in Birkenhead at the weekend.
Emergency services were called to Laird Street at around 3.30pm on Saturday, September 14 following reports of a man carrying knives.
Jack Deponio, of no fixed abode, has now been charged with affray, possession of a knife in a public place, two counts of assaulting an emergency worker and being in possession of a controlled drug.
He was kept in custody to appear at Wirral Magistrates court today (Monday, September 16).
