TWO people were assessed by paramedics after a motorbike crash in Heswall.

Emergency services were called to Telegraph Road near to the Church of the Good Shepherd just before 4.30pm on Thursday, September 12 following reports a pedestrian had been hit by a motorbike.

The pedestrian, a woman, was assessed by paramedics at the scene but only sustained minor injuries.

Paramedics also tended to the male rider of the motorbike who was complaining of chest and back pain.

An air ambulance was also in attendance.

Road closures were in place but reopened at around 5pm.
