THE Wirral Bazaar is set to open its doors once again in November to raise thousands of pounds to help those with cancer.

Now in its 29th year, the bazaar will take place on Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6, November at the Walled Garden Marquee in Thornton Manor.

The annual shopping spectacular brings together a selection of boutique stalls from across the country, offering shoppers the chance to get their hands on a variety of unique Christmas gifts.

Stalls will include luxury candles, home fragrances, clothing, home accessories, children's toys plus a wide selection of food and drink.

Last year, the bazaar attracted more than 3,500 visitors and raised an astonishing £41,000 for North West Cancer Research.

The organisers are keen to reach a similar target this year to help support funding for life-saving cancer research in the region.

All stallholders will be donating 10% of their takings directly to North West Cancer Research.

The £5 entry fee and all profits from catering will also be donated to the charity.

Organised by a small volunteer committee, the event has been secured by their army of friends and family and support from corporate sponsor The Mitchell Group.

Guests can look forward to prosecco and wine on Tuesday evening thanks to Majestic in West Kirby while being entertained by SingMeMerseyside, Birkenhead School Chamber Choir and the Bazaar's resident saxophonist Dick Neal.

Wirral Bazaar will take place in the Walled Garden Marquee at Thornton Manor on Tuesday, November 5 from 2pm till 8.30pm and Wednesday, November 7 from 9.30am till 3pm.
