CAN anybody explain why the powers that be saw fit to resurface practically every main road from Hamilton Square to Gayton all at the same time?
I have heard it said that is was because of this Tour of Britain passing through on September 11, but surely we have known about this for months and months?
So bearing that in mind, would it not have been possible to resurface the roads over phases?
A couple here, a couple there, until all the potholes and other hazards Wirral drivers are accustomed to negotiating had been filled in.
Surely that would have been a better idea than trying to do the lot just days before the event?
If it has nothing to do with the tour, then it must just be typical poor planning!
