CCTV images have been released after a man threatened a driver and kicked a train in Bidston.

British Transport Police (BTP) received a report that at 2.12pm on Saturday, August 3 following reports that rail staff had been threatened at Bidston train station.

A man is believed to have kicked a train which had stopped at the station before verbally abusing and threatening the train driver with violence.

He then verbally abused a train guard before leaving the station.

BTP have now issued CCTV of a man they would like to speak to as they believe he could have viral information to help their investigation.

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 and quoting reference number 1900067599.
