I ATTENDED the planning meeting at Wallasey Town Hall recently for the proposed high-tech development on top of Grange Hill in West Kirby.

I was the lead petitioner representing more than 100 signatories and 25 objections.

My five-minute talk to the committee representing the objectors' concerns was a short time to convey the serious questions over this development.

Grange Hill is primarily is a registered nature reserve of biological and geological significance.

Concerns over CCTV, webcams and strong LED lighting at the top of Grange Hill raised many issues that remain unanswered.

The recent bulldozing and flattening on top of Grange Hill has likely destroyed much of the essential undergrowth the protected species of reptiles etc need to survive such as the protected lizards and species of harmless snakes.
