A MUSIC festival raising cash for Macmillan will take place in New Brighton this week.
The New Brighton Music Festival, in Vale Park, will take place on Saturday, August 17 from 1pm until 7pm.
Artists confirmed the play include singer/songwriter Carl Southworth, vibrant three piece Legion Green, gentle rockers Jefferson Milk Float, Karl Lornie who is travelling all the way from Japan and upcoming local band Roger Spectrum who made it to the top three in Liverpool Rocks Battle of the Bands 2019.
Also confirmed, serving up a mess of Louisiana funk and blues from the Mersey Bayou, Swamp Dog Millionaires while the reincarnation of the Indiana Foxx and Ghost Town Band - Scene Stealers will bring classic Ska from the 60’s to 80’s - their frontman Foxxy has even played with the likes of The Selecter, Neville Staples, Bad Manners and The Beat.
Gig-goers can enjoy an afternoon of music with friends and even bring a picnic to make a day of it.
There will also be plenty of stalls for the crowd to enjoy.
Admission is by donation to Macmillan
Nearby parking is restricted and anyone wishing to attend is advised to use public transport and walk.
