The RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park celebrated its 21st anniversary in July and a city-based catering company was on hand once again to deliver creative catering - including 1.000 showstopping afternoon teas.
Horseradish were located in the Garden Lounge offering an all-round dining experience including a hearty brunch, a tempting three-course lunch menu and a luxurious afternoon tea, all with spectacular views of the showground. The Chester Racecourse-based caters pride themselves on their commitment to using the freshest ingredients and have long-standing relationships with the best suppliers enabling them to source quality local produce.
The menus for the Tatton Park event were carefully curated and included the finest components from surrounding areas, including slow braised Moorland lamb shoulder, Cheshire cheese & spring onion crushed new potatoes and Wirral watercress.
Afternoon tea was offered to visitors, displayed on a traditional tiered stand with delighted guests relishing in the presentation.
Richard Sutherland, Head Chef at Horseradish said: “In total we make around a thousand Afternoon Teas across the five days, a British staple and a must-have at this Royal Horticultural Society show.”
The annual event guarantees a fabulous day out, bursting with colourful gardening inspiration, fun family activities, have-a-go workshops and boutique shopping.
