A SPECIAL performance of Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest will take place this weekend.
Directed by former Brookside actor Dean Sullivan, the show will take place on Saturday, July 27 at 6.30pm and Sunday, July 28 from 2.30pm in the beautiful surroundings of Our Lady and St Nicholas church garden on Liverpool's pierhead.
Event-goers are invited to bring their own rugs or folding chairs and a picnic to enjoy while watching the performance from Liverpool Parish Church Theatre Company.
Suzanne Collins takes the role of Gwendolen while Lynne Fitzgerald takes the role of Lady Bracknell.
Suzanne told the Globe: "I’m thrilled to be playing the role Gwendolen in Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest. alongside Lynne Fitzgerald as Lady Bracknell and directed by my fellow ex-Brookside actor Dean Sullivan."
