FIREFIGHTERS are at a house after it was struck by lightning.
Crews were called to the house in Geneva Road, Winsford, just after 2am today (Wednesday, July 24).
All occupants were accounted for and there are no reports of injuries.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "Fire crews were called to a fire in a domestic property on Geneva Road, Winsford, after it was hit by lightning. Firefighters, four wearing breathing apparatus, used four covering jets and two hose reel jets to fight the fire which was in the roof of the building."
Firefighters are still in attendance dampening down the property.
