TWO teenagers have been charged after a man was stabbed in the face and leg with a screwdriver in Rock Ferry.
Emergency services were called at around 6.30pm on Friday, July 19 following reports a man in his 20s had been stabbed in the face and leg in Faversham Way.
He was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Officers searched the scene and arrested two teens in Bedford Place and Rock Park.
A screwdriver was found nearby and has been recovered for forensic tests.
Both teens, a 15-year-old from New Ferry and 14-year-old from Tranmere, were taken to a police station for questioning and habe since been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent.
They will appear at Merseyside Youth Remand Court today (Monday, July 22).
