POLICE have arrested a man found in possession on an inflatable spa and mountain bike in the early hours of Monday, July 15, in Ellesmere Port.
Officers were alerted to reports of suspicious activity in the Fern Road, Chester Road and Fairfield Avenue areas of Whitby at 2am.
Upon arrival, a 44-year-old local man was located nearby and arrested on suspicion of going equipped for burglary.
Items including an inflatable spa and a mountain bike were recovered, possibly as a result of a burglary.
Police are continuing to conduct enquiries in the area and anyone with information is urged to contact officers on the non-emergency number 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident reference number IML 456489.
