FIVE of Wirral's green spaces are in the running to be named the UK's Best Park.
Organised by Fields in Trust, the competition sets out to find the nation's favourite park over the summer months.
Nominations for the awards closed on July 1 - with five of the borough's many green spaces shortlisted.
Now it is down to the public to vote for the winner and then the parks with the most votes in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will then be shortlisted.
The overall winner of UK's Best Park will be revealed in September following the end of Fields in Trust's Summer of Parks campaign.
