TWO talented teenagers are heading off to the college of their dreams after more than a decade honing their skills at an Ellesmere Port dance academy.

Shannon Charles, 18, and Lucy Hickman-Germon, 16, are both celebrating success, as they head off to continue their training.

Shannon will be studying at the Royal Academy of Dance in London while Lucy will be training at Liverpool Theatre School.

The two girls have been students of Stars Dance Academy in Ellesmere Port for 13 years, studying classical ballet, modern theatre, tap dance and jazz.

They have taken numerous exams throughout the years, won many competitions and performed in countless shows and showcases.

Their teacher Louise Fitzgerald said: "It has been an honour to watch these two girls grow into such wonderful performers.

"Shannon started training with me at the age of five and Lucy at the age of three and I have been blessed to be their teacher and now friend.

"I have been with them through all of their ups and downs in their dance training and after completing their final examinations I was bursting with pride.

"I know they are both going to have fantastic careers and cannot wait to see what they will do next!"
