REGARDING the letter about the cycle lane limit.

As a regular rider along this bike lane last year, I caught a child when I was riding along this bike lane, not going very fast.

Luckily, I braked quickly as the child ran across me in the bike lane I went over my handle bars and landed on my legs.

This is not the first time a child has ran to me in this bike lane or I have had dogs running into me and attacking me as I am riding and plus with dogs on extended dog leads going right across the lane.

People walk and people push push chairs in the lane.

Don’t people know this is only for bikes as it is a bike lane wouldn’t be a better idea that people should not go into the bike lane?

I have just been for a walk alone the promenade and there was people walking in the bike lane and bikes had to swerve and go around them.

This just proves people do not know what a bike lane is.
