Colin Purton, from Penyffordd, Flintshire in Wales
A BODY of a man discovered in the River Dee has been confirmed to be that of missing pensioner Colin Purton.
Cheshire Police made the sad discovery on Thursday, June 6 just off The Old Dee Bridge.
Detectives confirmed that the body was that of 78-year-old Mr Purton who has been reported missing from his home in Penyffordd, Flintshire on May 22.
His next of kin have been informed.
There is not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and a file is being prepared for the coroner
