BUDDING actors are being invited to audition for LHK Youth Theatre's new production of Oliver!

LHK Youth Theatre is looking for youngsters aged between seven and 19 to audition for the production on Sunday, June 30 at 10.15am at the Floral Pavilion.

Open to both boys and girls, young performers must be able to sing, dance and act - with producers particularly looking for strong vocalists to cast some of the singing roles in Oliver.

Hopefuls do not need to prepare an audition piece as the production team will be on hand to put them through their paces.

As well as getting the chance to star in the show, actors will gain invaluable stage experience working with LHK Youth Theatre which is regarded as one of the the region’s leading youth arts organisations.

Established 15 years ago LHK Productions has developed the talent of thousands of young people and members have gone on to star on the West End, become TV stars and entertain on cruise ships worldwide.

Managing director Lee Kelly told the Globe: “Each year we reach out across the region to discover exceptional new talent.

"Our training is based on the basic principal that the best place for young people to learn about the performing arts is on stage in front of a live audience.

“We provide a platform for young talent to be showcased on a regional, national and international stage in iconic theatres throughout the UK and beyond.”

The production of Oliver! will be performed at the Floral Pavilion in February 2020.

The auditions are open to all levels from beginners to advanced - so whether you are an experience performer, or just fancy having a go just go along the Floral Pavilion on Sunday, June 30 at 10.15am .
