WIRRAL luxury candle creators Owen Drew launched their debut perfume while raising £6,000 for charity at a glitzy event.
Launching their first eau de parfum on Friday, June 14, Owen Drew welcomed 180 guests for a drinks reception and three-course meal at the famous Chester Grosvenor hotel.
The event had live entertainment from opera singers and guests were able to peruse a variety of artisan stalls.
After the dinner, an auction was held in aid of Chester's Hospice of the Good Shepherd and £6,000 was raised thanks to the donation of several pieces of diamond jewellery.
Founder Drew Cockton told the Globe: "We decorated the room with an abundance of fresh red roses and scented candles on all tables.
"Our aim was to create a feast for the senses: exquisite food and wine, beautiful perfumes and stunning visuals: We hired Maddison J Creations who covered the room with 14 foot maple trees and candelabra adorned in flowers.
"We're beyond thrilled the day was such a success and that everyone loves our new perfume.
"But to have raised such a greats sum of money for the charity is even better."
Back in April, Owen Drew opened a new premises on Claughton Road, Birkenhead stocking more than 30 different scented candles.
