VISITORS are being offered the chance to get out and enjoy nature as RSPB Burton Mere Wetlands blooms with new life.
This month there is a range of activities taking place at the nature reserve including a 'Dads Go Free' event for families on Sunday, June 16 to mark Father's Day.
During the day there will be Wild Challenge activities available from a nature-themed quiz trail to den building in the woods.
The following weekend on 22 to 23 June, the reserve hosts a Binocular and Telescope Open Weekend in support of the site's new shop and experts will be on hand to advise on choosing the best binoculars, telescopes and accessories to suit all needs.
There will be a range of brands to try and order on the day for home delivery.
This event is free to attend but normal admission charges apply for non-member visitors.
