We've consulted property experts Zoopla to find out the five most expensive streets in Wirral and how much they estimate a house on one of them could cost.

While the average price for a 3-bed house listed on Zoopla in Wirral is £175,493, there are also plenty of other properties to choose from for those with the deepest pockets.

According to property buying site Zoopla, these are Wirral's most expensive streets.

1. Thorsway, West Kirby

CH48 - £2,127,207

The most expensive house on this street is an estimated £2,765,000.

The six-bedroom house was last sold in June 2008 for £2,335,000.

CH48 - £1,781,550

The most expensive property is a ten-bedroom home now estimated to cost £4,927,000.

3. Croft Drive West, Caldy

CH48 - £1,340,864

The most expensive property is a four-bedroom home now estimated to cost £2,176,000.

4. Long Hey Road, Caldy

CH48 - £1,254,668

The most expensive property is a five-bedroom home now estimated to cost £2,032,000.

The most expensive property is now estimated to cost £2,185,000.

In addition to the most expensive, Zoopla has also rounded-up the streets with the highest turnover - ie the ones where houses go up for sale most frequently.

That is worked out by dividing the number of sales over the last five years (excluding new build properties) by the number of homes in a given area.

The five highest turnover streets in Wirral are:

  • Harris Close, Spital, CH63 66.7%
  • The Cokers, Bebington, CH42 57.1%
  • Bryce Drive, Bromborough, CH62 54.8%
