I THOUGHT I was alone in wondering about the enlarging Lakeland alongside Bidston Moss and the rail track – thank goodness someone else has noticed! (Angry cyclist, Wirral Globe, May 29).
Several letters to Network Rail have resulted in reply "a difficult problem to solve."
They are "continuing to work towards a permanent situation."
Since the dock was filled in by the Penny Bridge, the problem arose.
The water has to go somewhere.
Will the promised new improved trains be able to run that vital commuter service to Liverpool safely?
