TRANMERE Rovers will face League Two side Carlisle United in a pre-season friendly away next month.
Micky Melon's side will head north to Cumbria to face Steven Pressley's men on Tuesday July 23 (7.30pm kick-off) as part of preparations for life back in League One.
It is the third pre-season friendly confirmed by Rovers this week.
They will face Stoke City at Prenton Park on Saturday July 20 (3pm) and are at home to Walsall on Saturday July 27 (3pm).
Ticket details for all games will be announced in due course.
