FIREFIGHTERS spent five hours at the site of a fuel spillage in Ellesmere Port.
Emergency services were called at around 5.20pm yesterday (Monday, May 20) following reports that a tanker had leaked fuel on Oil Sites Road.
Two fire engines attended and found that 100 litres of fuel had leaked from a tanker near to junction 9 of the M53.
Firefighters managed to contain the spill before a clean up company were called to the site.
Crews were at the scene for around five hours and the Environment Agency were informed.
