WEST Kirby Light Opera Society stage their production of Gilbert & Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance this week.

The hugely popular musical comedy is at Heswall Hall from tonight (Wednesday) until Saturday.

The society’s Michael Kennedy said: "The production is sure to be a treat for the whole family."

THE Irby Artists Exhibition will be held this Saturday.

More than 250 items of art and craft will be on display during the event at St Chad’s Church Hall, Roslin Road, Irby.
