A PENSIONER'S purse was snatched from her hand as she was at a bank in Birkenhead.
The victim in her 70s, was in Yorkshire Bank, Princes Pavement at around 3pm on Thursday, April 18, when she was approached by a man who grabbed her purse containing cash and personal documents.
She managed to follow the man before he made off in the direction of the bus station.
The victim was not injured but left extremely shaken by the incident.
Detectives have issued a CCTV image of a man wanted in connection with the incident. They believe the man pictured may information vital to their investigation and want him, or anyone who recognises him, to get in touch.
