EVENTS will take place across Wirral for residents considering becoming a foster parent.
Taking place during Foster Care Fortnight, between 13 to May 26, the drop-in sessions aim to educate and inform people about fostering.
In Wirral there are 834 children in care - 406 are currently placed with foster carers - and 191 are with connected carers, those who are related to the child such as an aunt/uncle or grandparent.
The drop-in sessions:
- Tuesday, May 14 (10am to 12pm) Wallasey Town Hall
- Wednesday, May 15 (10am to 12pm) Bebington Civic Hall
- Friday, May 17 (9am to 12pm) Rock Ferry One Stop Shop - Community Hall
- Saturday, May 18 (10am to 12pm) West Kirby Concourse
- Tuesday, May 21 (1pm to 3pm) Floral Pavilion
