ONCE again, Wirral Council has us over a barrel when it comes to stealth taxes.
While top employees award themselves huge pay increases, us “little people” have no choice but to hand over our hard-earned cash.
The brown bin collection started at £30 in 2015.
This year it is a whopping £43 - an increase of nearly 50% in four years, well above the rate of inflation.
