A spokesman for the group told the Globe: "The British Traditional Wushu Team had an amazing time in Moscow.

"We are bringing home two gold, one silver and two bronze medals. We also have a couple of fourth and fifth places too. It was a great experience, we have learnt a lot.

"We definitely had put Great Britain on the map of the European Traditional Kung fu."

Members of the team have also been picked to compete in Oslo on September 27.
