LIVERPOOL artist Paul Curtis has been commissioned to create a mural at Thornton Hall Hotel and Spa.
Famous for creating the Baltic Triangle 'Wings' street art 'For all Liverpool's Liver Birds' on Jamaica Street, Paul Curtis latest work depicts a vibrant jungle scene on the hotel's terrace outside the Cristal Suite bar area.
The artwork stimulates a swing bench in a paradisal rainforest where guests can sit in front of the backdrop, take selfies and 'share a moment with their Tarzan or Jane.'
Paul's famous artwork was catapulted into the limelight when the Duchess of Cornwall was photographed in front of the iconic Liver Bird wings but since its arrival in the Baltic Triangle area hundreds regularly flock to get their own snap.
General Manager of Thornton Hall, Geoff Dale told the Globe: “We’re delighted that Paul has created this beautiful work of art for Thornton Hall.
"His work is fantastically received by the people of the North West and beyond and we’re privileged to be a part of his ever-increasing portfolio of projects.”
