BRITAIN’S status as a colony of the US has been confirmed by the shameful arrest and detention of award-winning investigative journalist Julian Assange.
The Wikileaks founder was hauled out of the Ecuadorian Embassy in broad daylight by plain-clothes MI5 agents in scenes reminiscent of Nazi invasions of Jewish ghettoes during World War II.
Having ignored Assange's seven-year political asylum at the embassy for virtually all of his time there, treating him as a "persona non grata" under orders from their US masters, the British press and media were literally falling over themselves and each other to take photographs and film of his violent eviction.
This flagrant abuse of international law governing the rights of asylum seekers was quickly followed by news the US will be seeking his extradition to face a show trial and probable life imprisonment for exposing US war crimes in Afghanistan and Iraq, and its other dirty tricks in countries all over the world.
