LIVEWIRE bosses have confirmed nails have not been found in the play equipment at Orford Jubilee Park.
A post on social media had been shared by a large number of people claiming rusty nails had been pushed through the ropes of a climbing frame in 'Jubilee Park'.
But after being contacted by concerned parents, LiveWire has confirmed the post doesn't relate to the Jubilee Park in Warrington.
A spokesman added: "We are aware of a post circulating on social media regarding nails in play equipment in 'Jubilee Park'.
"We have looked into this and would like to clarify that these posts originated in reference to a park in County Durham - they do not refer to Orford Jubilee Park.
"To reassure everyone our staff have just come back from checking over our equipment in the park and all is fine."
