A POLICEMAN was taken to hospital with minor injuries after his car hit a wall in Birkenhead.
Just after 8pm on Tuesday, the officer was on his way to an emergency call when his vehicle was involved in a collision with a red Dacia Sandero at the junction of Exmouth Street and Exmouth Close, Birkenhead and then hit the wall of a house.
The injured policeman and female driver of the Dacia Sandero were taken to hospital as a precaution.
An investigation into the incident is underway and witness appeal for any witnesses to come forward.
