A MAN suffered facial injuries after being hit by a lorry in Prenton.
Emergency services were called at around 4.20pm on Thursday, April 11 to Woodchurch Road near to The Swan pub following reports that a male pedestrian had been involved in a collision with a lorry.
The man has been taken to hospital for treatment for facial injuries.
Road closures were in place from the junction of Grainger Road to the junction of Prenton Hall Road and drivers were urged to avoid the area.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any dashcam or CCTV footage is asked to contact Merseyside Police on social medics via @MerPolCC, call 101 quoting ref. 699.
