AN ALL-SINGING, all-dancing tonic for the dreaded menopause will be on offer in Llandudno in May.

A trio of hardened menopause veterans - and one new addition - are on hand to unravel the mysteries of 'The Change' in Venue Cymru on Tuesday, May 7 in Menopause The Musical.

Featuring the return of former Eastenders star Cheryl Fergison , Maureen Nolan of the famous sisters' musical group and Casualty’s Rebecca Wheatley from last year's run this year's show will also feature Irish TV presenter Katherine Lynch..

This unique comedy is set in a department store where four women with seemingly nothing in common meet by chance and make fun of their woeful experiences of the menopause – only to bond as they realise it is an unavoidable stage in every woman’s life.

Rather than complain, the ladies promise to transform this change-of-life experience into a fun-filled night at the theatre – complete with great songs, rewritten to perfectly capture the mood.

Expect an hysterical show packed full of one-liners about night sweats, hot flushes and memory loss backed by an instantly recognisable soundtrack of innuendo-laden versions of '60s, '70s and '80s pop classics.

They include anthems like I Will Survive, rewritten for a comic, yet tender night of therapy for the soul.

Menopause The Musical will be at Venue Cymru on Tuesday, May 7 at 7.30pm .

Tickets are £31.50, to book call the box office on 01492 872000 or go online at venuecymru.co.uk.
