POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 62-year-old woman was hit by a car in Bromborough.
Emergency services received a report that on Saturday, March 16 just before 8am on Bromborough Village Road a 62-year-old female pedestrian had been involved in a collision with a car.
The male driver of the car had stopped at the scene but the woman had assured him that she was okay so no details were exchanged.
After the collision the woman made her way to work where she collapsed.
She was then taken to hospital with serious injuries to her ribs and shoulder.
The woman is currently still in hospital receiving treatment.
Detectives are now urging the driver involved and any witnesses to come forward.
