A BEER and cider festival is set to land at Liverpool's Bombed Out Church next month.

Real Ale Events are hosting the festival, which will run from Thursday, April 11 to Sunday, April 14, and will offer up to 200 beers and ciders along with an ever-so popular gin garden under a transparent clear roofed marquee.

Last year 3,500 people attended the event and more are expected this year to try a range of stouts, porters, IPA's, wheat beers, bitter, pale ales and fruit beers.

There is also a diverse selection of ciders to keep up with the demand for fruity and unusual offerings, not to mention the gin garden which will serve up a range of tipples from fruity to the unusual accompanied with a garnish and flavoured tonic.

To soak up beverages, a selection of street food and a huge range of cheese from the Liverpool Cheese Company will be available.

Events director, Katie Jones said: "We had an amazing response to our beer and cider festival at the Bombed Out Church two years ago and we can’t wait to return, bigger and better than ever!"

Tickets start from £5 and include a souvenir half pint glass and programme to take away.
